since we were in colorado for christmas we got together with the petersen side of the family to celebrate, open gifts, eat food, etc. on new year's eve. photos of spencer and jack's excitement below. i wish i could have recorded how excited they were. it was so fun to watch. it was especially wonderful to watch as they opened their new underpants and pajamas. "underpants! underpants! i love these!" wish i got that excited about underpants.
it was also really fun to watch as spencer was petting a present behind my dad. it was jack's turn to open his and spencer just couldn't contain himself. he was so excited that he just started petting the present. ah, to be a kid again!
